Bullock Carts - Ceylon (Sri Laka)
Bullock carts were the common transportation method around old Ceylon. They were pulled by grown-up Bulls and some times two or four bulls have been connected together by ropes and wooden bars to facilitate higher load pulling. The driver and any other passengers sit on the front of the cart, while load is placed in the back. Traditionally the cargo was usually agrarian goods and lumber.
